Behind Zameen.com is a team of dedicated and talented individuals with decades’ worth of experience in creating easy-to-use platforms for all manner of online transactions. Zameen.com has offices in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Dubai and London, and also has presence in 10 other major cities of Pakistan.
Zameen.com started its funding first round in 2012 which constituted of several angel investors and substantial investment from venture capital firms. A further two rounds of major investment were closed in late 2015 and early 2016, bringing in a total of $29 million.
In 2014, Zameen.com closed an investment deal with Singapore-based internet giant Catcha Group and Malaysia-based Frontier Digital Ventures (FDV), two of the most successful venture capitalist firms in the ASEAN region, following which both acquired a significant but non-controlling interest in Zameen.com.
Catcha Group CEO and Founder Patrick Grove and FDV CEO and Founder Shaun Di Gregorio both also joined Zameen.com’s Board of Directors.
